The Guiding Principles provide a comprehensive framework for understanding the responsibilities of businesses and governments in promoting and protecting human rights. This holistic approach was particularly insightful. Even though I completed the modules, when I refreshed the page, it showed that I needed to complete these completed modules. As a user, I think this course was really interesting and creative. I was able to understand the topics easily, and the included cases helped me gain better knowledge. I found the course interface quite intuitive and user-friendly. Information was laid out logically, which made navigation between modules seamless. The course's use of mixed media, including videos, text, and interactive quizzes, catered well to different learning styles. However, I did encounter some issues with video loading times, which occasionally disrupted the flow of learning. Looking back at my learning process about Human Rights, the interactive and engaging content was the best part. It kept me interested and made learning fun. The most valuable thing I learned was how important human rights are in different situations. One suggestion I have to improve the course would be to include more interactive elements, such as quizzes or discussions, to enhance engagement and retention of the information presented. Additionally, more practical examples and exercises could help reinforce the application of human rights principles in a business context. Overall, I found the course to be incredibly valuable and would recommend it to anyone interested in this important topic.

Hello ! My full name is Madeleine Carol Larrú Chipana, I am an economist by profession and I have also studied two technical degrees, the first being Computing and Information Technology and the second being Accounting. I have done several volunteer projects, the last being the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games in Chile. I belong to the Mensa International Foundation and have worked in the public and private sectors. I enrolled in the course "The role of business in the protection and promotion of Human Rights" to learn more about the important role that companies and businesses must play in the protection, support and promotion of human rights, and compliance with the Agenda 2030. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish policies and work plans that involve the private sector, with initiative and commitment to promote respect for people's rights.
